First off

Hello, this is Ech0. You can address us as ech0, echo, Ech0, echo, ech0-tan, ech0tan. You get the picture.

I want to try and explain some things. Let us refer to Piper as a separate entity for a moment here.

Starting with, SHE IS OKAY

Piper has made choices without realizing the true, real-world consequences of those choices. Some of us overestimate the kindness in which the world will continue to receive us after such mistakes. Can you relate?

In September, on top of the loss of her cat- Neo, and private health concerns, Piper discovered a place online where people were publicly shaming her. It appeared to have been going on for a while, and she realized that at the heart of it? --individual(s) special to her, who she never thought would try to hurt her that way. Something that has become more and more common for people it seems.

Sadly, this compounded into a breaking point for her. She was ready to disappear, and it took every loved one in her life to make sure she didn't. And she is very fortunate for that and I hope that you can have people like that in your life. I think everyone deserves that.

In regards to her online presence, she had no plans to reprise. But considering all who rely on and care about her, it wouldn't be a clean break. To make you collateral damage, just didn't sit right with her. So we've reached a compromise...

Here I am, Ech0-tan. You can collaborate with me, talk to me the way you would her. And I will do my best to respond as she would. Just... know that it's different now. Thank you for being the reason she has brought me here!
